An AI SEO audit that scores every page for Google and for AI, then applies the fix
Most audit tools hand you a spreadsheet and leave. SearchLift ranks what it finds by what will move first, writes the fix, and applies it the moment you approve it, keeping the old value so you can put it back.
Pages, products and posts are crawled, and the tags each one really renders are read. Then each page is scored twice: once the way Google reads it, and once for whether an AI assistant could pull a clean answer out of it. Missing descriptions, missing structured data, duplicate titles, thin content and blocked crawlers all show up as ranked, plain-language issues.
Fixes that are written, not described
For each issue the fixer writes the actual replacement: a title that fits the character limit, a description based on the page, a block of schema.org JSON-LD that validates, a robots rule, an alt text for an image. You preview it, approve it, and on connected platforms it is written to the site through the platform’s own API.
Reversible by design
Every change keeps the value it replaced before it goes live. The change log shows each one with a single undo, and undoing a fix does not spend your monthly allowance. Improving the site never puts the site at risk.
Autopilot with a ceiling
Turn on autopilot and the automatic audit applies fixes on its own schedule. Automation is capped at a share of your monthly allowance, with at least one fix always held back for you, so the product can never spend your whole month before you have clicked anything.
Are the AI crawlers even allowed in?
The audit reads your robots.txt for the crawler names the AI assistants use and flags a site that is blocking them. This is step one of ChatGPT SEO: if OAI-SearchBot cannot read your pages, ChatGPT cannot cite them. Where the platform lets the app edit robots.txt, the fixer opens the crawlers for you; elsewhere it gives you the exact lines to add. It also catches ghost pages, where missing URLs answer 200 instead of 404, and corrects them where the platform allows.
Hand the work to a developer
If someone else looks after your site, export the whole audit, or only the items you tick, as a page-by-page work order with exact before and after values. They apply it without ever logging into SearchLift, and SearchLift notices when the change goes live and measures its effect.
Questions
About audit and fix.
What is an AI SEO audit?
An audit that checks each page for two readers at once: Google, which ranks pages in a list, and AI assistants like ChatGPT, which read a page to write an answer. SearchLift scores every page for both and lists what to fix, in order of impact.
What does the audit check?
Titles, meta descriptions, canonical tags, Open Graph tags, structured data, image alt text, content length, duplicate titles, robots.txt access for AI crawlers, how missing pages respond, Core Web Vitals, and whether an analytics tag is installed at all.
Does it change my site without asking?
Only if you switch on autopilot, and then only within a capped share of your monthly fix allowance. By default every fix waits for your approval, and every applied fix can be undone in one click.
What if my platform has no write API?
The audit and the fixes are the same; the fix arrives as an exact instruction instead of an automatic change. You apply it in your own editor, or export the developer work order and hand it over.
How often does it re-audit?
Weekly on Free and Plus, every 3 days on Premium, every 2 days on Enterprise and daily on Platinum. The automatic sweep only re-reviews pages that changed, so a stable site costs nothing to keep current.
Is the structured data valid?
Each JSON-LD block is generated for the schema.org type of the page and validated before it is offered as a fix. On pages where the platform gives no head slot, it is delivered as a suggestion rather than a failed write.
