SearchLift

Connectors

AI SEO, connected where your site already lives.

Eight connectors and a plain URL. Each one is written up honestly: what SearchLift can write through the platform’s own API, and what it can only hand you as an instruction. AI visibility tracking works the same on all of them.

Connector by connector

What each one can actually write.

A tick means SearchLift does it through the platform’s own API and checks that it landed. A cross means the platform gives no way to do it, so the fix arrives as an exact instruction instead of a failed write.

Read straight from the app’s own capability map. WordPress writes depend on the SEO plugin the site runs; Rank Math, SEOPress and Jetpack accept them, Yoast does not. Next.js and custom sites write only once an endpoint is set up.

How connection works

Four ways in. None of them needs your password.

App store

Store platforms with an app store install SearchLift from there. The store handles installation and billing, the tracker is added for you, and there is nothing to paste.

Shopify, Wix

Sign in or paste a key

WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, HubSpot and Notion connect with a sign-in where the platform offers one, or a key you create in your own account. Every key is checked against the live site before it is saved, and stored encrypted.

WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, HubSpot, Notion

Signed webhook

Next.js and other headless or custom sites give SearchLift an endpoint. Every approved change is sent there as a signed payload for your own build to apply, with a copy-paste handler in the developer guide.

Next.js, Astro, Nuxt, Hugo, Eleventy

Just the URL

Any website at all gets the full AI SEO audit from a public crawl, AI visibility tracking, the Search Console suite and article drafts. Fixes arrive as exact instructions, or as a work order for whoever looks after the site.

Questions

Before you connect.

What if my platform is not listed?

Connect it by URL. You get the whole product except automatic changes: the AI SEO audit, AI visibility tracking across the five assistants, the Search Console suite, accuracy alerts and article drafts. Each fix arrives as an exact instruction, and the developer work order collects them for whoever looks after the site.

Which connectors change my site for me?

WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Ghost and HubSpot write titles and descriptions through their own APIs; Next.js and custom sites receive the same changes as signed webhooks. Notion is a publishing destination for articles, not a site to fix. The table on this page lists every write, connector by connector.

Do I have to give SearchLift my password?

No. App store apps are authorized by the store. Everything else uses a sign-in or a key you create for SearchLift alone and can revoke at any time: an Application Password on WordPress, an Admin API key on Ghost, a Site API token on Webflow, a private app token on HubSpot, an integration secret on Notion.

Can I switch platforms later?

Yes. Disconnecting a CMS returns the account to URL mode, where fixes become suggestions again. Connecting another one points the audit, the fixer and the article studio at it without touching your history.

Does AI visibility tracking depend on the connector?

No. AI visibility is measured by asking ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Grok your buyer questions, which works the same for every site, connected or not. The connector only decides whether the fixes can be applied for you, so ChatGPT SEO and AI visibility are the same on every platform.
